En post anteriores estuve comentando algunas cosas sobre mi última visita a Osaka, hoy continuaremos el paseo donde lo dejamos la última vez, en la zona de Dotombori.

El popular cartel luminoso de la compañía Glico estaba en obras, pero cubirendolo había una lona con una versión especial del mismo, esta vez protagonizada por la popular actriz Haruka Ayase.

Y para comer opté por una cadena de restaurantes de Kusiage "KusiKatsu Daruma" que llevan funcionando desde 1929, así que son bastante famosos no solo en Osaka también en el resto del archipiélago Nipón. En la zona de Dotombori hay unos cuantos Kusikatsu Daruma.

Y bueno, el kusiage se trata de todo tipo de alimentos con un fino rebozado y fritos, de ahí que vayan pinchados en "brocheta" ya que cuando se fríen se meten en el aceite directamente cogiendolos por el pincho.

Normalmente los puedes pedir de uno en uno y también tienes diferentes sets surtidos con los más populares, una buena opción para no perder mucho tiempo decidiendo.

Antes de comerte el Kusiage se introduce (un poco solamente o todo totalmente) en una pequeña cubeta con salsa, como esta cubeta después la utilizan otros clientes por motivos de higiene solo se pueden introducir las brochetas una solo vez cada una antes de ser mordidas.

Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro is now decorating a lots of Halloween stuffs around our hotel.

See the above picture. We put few pumpkin balloons on our front desk. And

We hanged up some skniny skeltons and a cute bat from the ceiling.

Hehe. Do you like our decoration?

Sorry, it's not BOND..

Hello, everyone, my name is Tomo.
Started my training here at "Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro" 2 weeks ago.

My first initial job here at the hotel was a model for the official blog announcing the cafe event, "OKTOBERFEST".
Some of you might have seen me already.

As you can see, I love films.
I studied filmmaking at LACC (Los Angeles City College) & made some films.
Along with filmmaking, I worked as a barista at several different cafe in LA and a waiter.
After I lived in the city, I returned to Japan after 14 years straight.
My home country became a totally new country for me.
I became a total stranger..

However, my colleagues here are actually a group of nice people!!
They have enough patience to teach a person like me, since I'm areally a slow-learner..
