Hola!

Today I continue with the trip I did the other day to Karuizawa,

Japanese people like sweet things,
and here in Karuizawa there is a very popular Pancakes store!
I tried and found them very good, very filling and a cheap price
photo on a crepe filled with cream, chocolate and banana!
I'm sorry the photo is not too good...

There is always someone waiting while you prepare your crepe.

Carry on my wayward son. There'll be peace when you are done. This is Jonathan at Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro.

As you may or may not know, Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro belongs to a business group that also includes an organic vegetable farm called "Tohoku Bokujo" in Aomori Prefecture, the northernmost prefecture on the largest island of the Japanese archipelago. If you have ever eaten at the Sakura Cafe, or gone for a drink at Ginza 300 Bar, chances are you have seen some signs with information, or even eaten some of their produce (in pudding available at Sakura Cafe, or fresh herbs used in drinks at 300 Bar, etcetera). Tohoku Bokujo uses zero farm chemicals to produce beautiful, all natural vegetables, with stricter standards than the Organic Japanese Agriculture Standard.

Aomori is very far from Tokyo, but in addition to vegetables and eggs, there is another another little bit of Tohoku Bokujo that this hotel can make available to you. Postcards!

This past weekend I went to Karuizawa, mountainous part full of nature in Nagano Prefecture and is relatively close to Tokyo.

in the area there are many hot springs , too there are also many sites for golf, skiing or riding!!

Here we made a rest stop at a restaurant where they sold crafts and specialties made from milk.

Many "western" style buildings.
