Mt.Takao

What do you imagine to think of Japan?
Some of foreigners imagine about Mt.Fuji,I think.

Because, some of them have a plan to go there.
But,,,there is bit far and quite hard to climb.

So I recommend to go to Mt.Takao.

This mountain is for beginner climber's mountain.
However, you can see nice view and nature in some spot.

For example,,,
So many roots on the ground!!!

Second is,,,
Beautiful bridge in the deep side of Takao

Third is,,,
Nice view from middle of Takao.

Women's minds & Weather

In my experience, women's minds are changeable and unstable as the weather.
Hey guys, Don't you agree?

Women could break my heart, but the weather brings a lot of enjoyment to me.

I like to look at the sky because the sky will never be the same and show us a different face every day.

Colors of the sky and shape of the clouds always fascinate me.

SUNDAY MORNING

How did you spend your Sunday morning?
I like Sunday morning somehow ... maybe because it is peaceful and quiet.

This morning I stopped by Seven-Eleven to buy an ice cream and a song played in the store.
'Sunday morning rain is falling. Steal some covers share some skin ...'
sun100.jpg
That was " Sunday Morning " by Maroon 5.

sun3.jpg
Then, I went to FamilyMart to buy fried chicken and No Doubt's " Sunday Morning " was playing.

I got a funny feeling.

When I got home, I picked up the 2 albums and listened to the 2 songs over and over.

sun8.jpg sun7.jpg
Now, I am watching one of my favorite movies 'The Spanish Apartment'(L'Auberge Espagnole)

sun200.jpg
Tonight, I am planning to join "Travelers' Night Spain" at Sakura Cafe Ikebukuro.
Would you like to come and join us?

HARD LIQUOR

hard1.jpg
Ken, what have you got in your hands?

hard2.jpg
It is a Polish vodka and one of the guests who is from Bangladesh gave Ken.

hard3.jpg
Can you see the number 96? It means that the vodka contains 96 percent alcohol.
Unbelievable! Ken, don't even think about drinking it! You would die ...

What kind of hard liquors do you like?

hard4.jpg jack2.jpg
I like 'Jack Daniel's.'
I used to have a shot glass of Jack Daniel's every night when I could not sleep.

hard6.jpg hard7.jpg
I am always scared of Tequila ... I lost consciousness when I was in college in Minnesota.

Everybody, drink too much hard liquor!

Let's take a walk!

Rainy season in Japan is finishing soon.
How about taking a walk on sunny days?

I'll recommend you nice Osampo(taking a walk) course in Yamate in Yokohama.

This is "French Mountain(France Yama)" that is the hillside between "Harbour View Park(Minato no mieru oka Kouen)" and the canal.
038.jpg 039.jpg
There's a windmill here.
040.jpg
Although it was a hot day, I could feel cool winds when I was taking a walk there.

If you prefer more quiet place, go to "Yamate Italian Hill Garden(Yamate Italia Yama Teien" that's located near Ishikawa-cho Station.
042.jpg
043.jpg
1880-1886,there used to be the Consulate of Italy here, so this place was called "Italian Hill" before.

045.jpg
You can see two beauriful houses in Italian Hill Garden.
047.jpg
This is "Bluff 18" which was built for foreigners after the Great Kanto Earthquake(1923).
048.jpg
And this is "Diplomat's House"
This house was belonged to Sadatsuchi Uchida who was a diplomat, and originally it was built in Shibuya. But it was moved to Yamate in 1990s.
You can also see the inside of Diplomat's House for free.
Around the house, there are a lot of beautiful flowers.

Yamate is an ideal place for couple to take a walk...
113_1343.jpg
Like them, let's enjoy talking about the nature...

'Wow, what a beautiful bird!'
'Yeah,I want to be free from you like that bird...'

June Bride!

This month, one of my friend had wedding!!

I was very very happy for her(^-^)!

So, she is a June bride!!

.... but why is it said that a bride of June finds happiness??

  D-KEKKONNSIKI-01.jpg
 There are various opinions.

 1. Because "June" comes from Juno which is a goddess controlling the marriage of the Roman mythology,

The bride will surely find happiness if she marries in the month of this goddess protecting the marriage and women's rights.

  juno_by_moreau.jpg

 2. In Europe, it was forbidden marrying in old days for three months of March and April and May.

Because June was the month when the marriage was lifted, so, many people will get married during June.

 3. People choose to get married during June because it has the least rain throughout the year, and it is considered to be good.

In addition, Europeans get into the mood of wedding due to Easter. Therefore it is said that the bride of June can find happiness!

In Japan, there are some styles of wedding.

  D-KEKKONNSIKI-02-s.jpg
Shinto Style Wedding

  church.jpg
Christian Style Wedding

  buddism.jpg
Buddhist Style Wedding

In Japan, most young people doesn't have religion.

So people just choose their own wedding with their own liking.

It's weird, isn't it?

I don't have plan for wedding yet,

but I wish I can wear wedding dress within a few years(>o<)!
