We organize Japanese Tea Ceremonies at Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro once or twice every month, where you can prepare Japanese tea by yourself and experience the traditional culture together. Please ask our staff for more details as well as how to join the ceremony!

In the corridors, photos of buildings designed by world-renowned Italian architects Carlo Scarpa and his son Tobia are put on display. These photos were taken by a Japanese photographer, the late Masaaki Sekiya who was famous for capturing architectures on films. It is said that they are one of the greatest photo collections of Carlo & Tobia Scarpa’s works.

We also exhibit many innovative creations by artists at the lobby, in association with “Design Festa”. DF runs the biggest art event in Asia twice per year in Tokyo Big Sight as well as 2 galleries in Harajuku. Not just taking a look but you could also be their owner for an affordable price!
