On the way home from the work, 9 pm to 9 am night shift …

Automatically I stopped by the sports shop and unconsciously bought this uniform.

Today is the election day !
I willingly voted for the Upper House election at elementary school gymnasium.

A board of campaign posters of candidates silently stands.

I will enjoy myself tremendously tonight … watching the final game (from 3:30 am to about 5:30am , Japan time) and drinking beer. If you are one of those guys, please come to our café and take advantage of this good deal (as you already saw in the previous blog)
Who do you think will win the final, Spain or Netherlands?
I'm already so excited that I can barely sleep.

I will surely have a dream like this if I finally fall asleep …

Spain won against Germany 1 - 0 in the semifinals and
got the right to play Netherlands for the championship.

I am extremely happy and I can’t describe my feeling.
I am looking forward to the ‘offensive’ final game.

I don’t know where Alberto watched the game,
but I know how happy he must be.

Lo consegui! Estupendo!

From over the café …
I heard people cheering, shouting, laughing, crying …
I saw people hugging, smiling, putting their heads down …
I had to work against my will …

Germany 4 - 0 Argentina ... Maradona got angry.

Spain 1 - 0 Paraguay ... David Villa raised a cry of triumph.

Today … The fourth of July … Independence Day in the United States

I felt empty after Japan lost 0-0 (3 PK 5) to Paraguay and failed to reach the quarterfinals.
Now, I am ready to enjoy quarter-final games in which all the best players in the world are getting together.
8 countries : Uruguay Ghana Brazil Netherlands Argentina Germany Paraguay Spain

Winstar & Eduard (Netherlands)

Monica & Montse (SPAIN)
Comment … The quality of the service is very good and very polite. The popcorn is a good idea!

1st quarterfinal game : Netherlands 2 - 1 Brazil
Who expected this result?

My second favorite England lost the game against Germany, 1-4. Unbelievable!

British Prime Minister and German chancellor watched the game together

NO GOAL … It is obvious the ball did cross the goal line.
That was a serious error made by a referee. Unbelievable!
What if it was counted as a goal?
Happy faces of gentlemen from Germany

Mr. Henning and Mr. Hansen

When Spain lost its first match against Switzerland,
my mind was covered with dark clouds.

Last night’s results of Group H … Spain 2-1 Chile / Switzerland 0-0 Honduras
Then, Spain and Chile advance to the final 16 and Switzerland and Honduras were eliminated.
‘No day so clear but has dark clouds’

I feel sorry for 2 girls, Paola and Anna who are from Switzerland.
☆Their comment on our hotel … clean hotel, receptionist friendly,
rooms a little bit small, but it’s good that we can use internet in the room.

NEXT … Spain vs. Portugal (3:30 a.m., Japan time, on June 30)
Ahh … My heart is already beating so fast.
Villa at café!?
Noooo ... Mr. Hong from Canada
